Join our Fabio'screw and spend a weekend on board his sailboat!
Skipper or sailing instructor, your choice. Enjoy sailing to discover the main attractions of the Sicilian sea or take part in a daily sailing school to the next landing place.
Where tosail, where to stop and where to eat: only you, your travelling companions and the wind will decide. One choice has already been made: set sail with our skippered sailing charter!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 18:00 on Friday at the meeting point in Marsala (TP). You will recognise me, I will be greeting you on board my sailboat ready to host you for this weekend at sea!
Once all the passengers have boarded, I will explain life on board in a briefing. Like a real crew, we will then discuss the galley together: once we have decided whether to eat on board or ashore, we will take care of the shopping before departure.
Back on board, we will finally be ready to set sail! It will be the crew, i.e. you and the other participants, who will be 'in command' of the boat: it will be up to you to choose the itinerary, as well as the possibility of stopping or landing in the desired places, subject to favourable weather and sea conditions. As skipper, I will not fail to advise you on the best routes: Favignana, Marettimo and Levanzo, Mazara del Vallo and Sciacca, Trapani and the surrounding area.
But the main attraction will be found on board: not only skipper but also sailing instructor, I will actively involve you in life on board, teaching you how to pilot the boat, adjust the sails, manage the manoeuvres and understand the weather. You will then be able to say that you didn't just spend 2 days at sea, but that you really experienced them!
At the end of our weekend we will return to the meeting point at approximately 18:00 on Sunday.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; passengers with reduced mobility are welcome, subject to contacting the organiser at the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence and request support.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Sailing takes place and may vary at the captain's discretion depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat is the 13.60-metre long sailing yacht Carolina ; it is equipped with 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms, watermaker, heating, TV, retractable carbon bowsprit, retractable cockpit table and solar panels.
It is possible to request a single cabin with a 50% surcharge over the indicated price.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
