The hills are best explored on two wheels: in the heart of the Monferrato Astigiano region, an experience awaits you that combines the pleasure of an e-bike ride with the flavours of traditional Piedmontese cuisine!

Setting off from the Monteruello winery in Quaranti, you’ll cycle for 4 hours through villages, scenic roads and vineyards, following routes recommended directly on your smartphone.

On your return, a picnic will be waiting for you amongst the vineyards, where you’ll enjoy three glasses of wine accompanied by selected dishes and local specialities!

What we will do

The meeting point is at the selected time at the meeting point in Quaranti, in the province of Asti. Our staff will be there to welcome you and hand over your e-bike and the equipment reserved for you.

Before setting off, you’ll receive all the necessary information about the route and can download the app featuring suggested itineraries. You can then set off to explore the area, cycling through the hills surrounding the villages of Mombaruzzo, Fontanile and Nizza Monferrato, and reaching the most picturesque viewpoints in the area marked by the Giant Benches.

You will have the e-bike at your disposal for 4 hours, after which you must return to the starting point where a vineyard picnic will await you in a reserved area, set up with tents, blankets and cushions so you can finally relax.

The picnic will consist of a guided tasting of local produce and wines: you’ll start with a glass of sparkling wine as a welcome aperitif, followed by a selection of cheeses accompanied by a glass of white wine and a box of Piedmontese specialities such as vitello tonnato, Roccaverano cream puffs, torta verde and giardiniera, served with a glass of red wine. You will finish with a dessert made with Mombaruzzo amaretti.

The experience will last approximately 7 hours in total, depending on the duration of the picnic.

Who it is aimed at

This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions, but a minimum height of approximately 140 cm is required to ride the e-bike. Children may take part if accompanied by an adult. Child seats are also available on request.

The experience is available from around April to October , subject to a minimum of two participants.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Any dietary requirements must be communicated after booking.

Important: once your booking is confirmed, the organiser will contact you to find out your age, weight and height and to reserve the e-bike best suited to your measurements.

Dogs are allowed upon request; trailers are also available (also upon request) .

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
