Full description
First adrenaline, then Sagrantino. Climb aboard a Polaris all-terrain Jeep for a tour through the vineyards of the Saragano Estate, in the hills between Todi and Montefalco.
Visit the historic winery and its barrique cellar and end your adventure on a high note with a tasting of six wines and zero-kilometre products such as salami, cheese and oil from the estate.
An experience of about 2 hours where nature and taste meet to leave a mark in your memories!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Saragano Estate near Gualdo Cattaneo (PG), in the Sagrantino hills.
Our experience will begin with a tour through the vineyards surrounding the estate on board a 6-seater Polaris off-road Jeep, one of which is reserved for driving. We will dive between the rows to learn more about the production processes and grape varieties from which great wines such as Sagrantino DOCG and Montefalco Rosso DOCG are made.
After about 30 minutes we will return to the winery to begin our visit, which will take us to admire the barrique cellar and the ageing cave. We will learn more about the history of this family-run business: founded in 1921, today the estate covers 220 hectares of vineyards and olive groves and has adopted a strictly organic philosophy.
At the end of the visit, we will be seated in an indoor room to begin the tasting: we will taste six of the wines produced by the winery, including a sparkling wine, two white wines and three red wines. The tasting will be accompanied by a sampling of bruschetta with home-produced olive oil, cold meats and cheeses from small local producers.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours, including a 30-minute tour in a Polaris Jeep, a 30-minute visit to the winery and a 1-hour tasting session.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine-tasting session is for adults only. Any accompanying persons who do not drink wine pay a reduced fee, which includes the Jeep tour, visit to the winery and the wine tasting board.
The winery is not wheelchair-accessible.

The experience can be booked all year round.
The off-road Jeep Polaris can carry a total of 6 people, including 5 participants and the driver acting as guide.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
