If you’re the latter, we recommend a 1½-hour wine tasting in Castiglioncello, on the Etruscan Coast.
Amidst the Tuscan hills, you’ll discover the region’s wines, aromas and flavours as you explore organic wineries and vineyards. Get ready to raise a glass, sample the wines and find your new favourite!
What we will do
The event will take place at the time indicated at Tenuta Fortulla in Castiglioncello (LI), designated a site of national interest due to its rich biodiversity and comprising 110 hectares – of which five are dedicated to red grape vineyards, two to white grape vineyards and five hectares to olive groves.
Here we will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us on a fascinating journey through the history of this organic estate, founded in 2010 and certified by the CCPB (one of the leading bodies for the certification and inspection of organic, eco-friendly and eco-sustainable agri-food products) .
After taking in the panoramic view of the vineyard, we’ll visit the winery before heading upstairs to begin the tasting. We’ll start with a taste of local olive oil, followed by three wines from the current vintages: the white wines Pelato IGT (organic) from Tuscany and Serpentino Terratico di Bibbona Bianco DOC (organic) , the organic Epatta IGT rosé, and the reds Fortulla Rosso di Toscana IGT and Sorpasso Rosso di Toscana IGT organic.

At the end of the tasting, you’ll have the chance to purchase the estate’s products or take a panoramic photo: the vineyards and the winery offer a stunning view of the island of Elba, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona.
We’ll say our goodbyes after 1 hour and 30 minutes of activities.

This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors or non-drinkers may take part in the experience free of charge or purchase just the platter of local produce, paying €10 on the spot.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of 4 participants have signed up.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
