You don't just go to San Gimignano for the towers. You go there to discover places like Palagetto: a winery where every wine has a story to tell.
Among local cold cuts, Tuscan cheeses and bruschetta, you will taste 4 wines from the estate - 2 whites and 2 reds - right in the barrique cellar. There where time, wood and silence work together to create something unique.

What we will do
The appointment is at thePalagetto winery , in the hills of San Gimignano, surrounded by tidy vineyards and the scents of the Tuscan countryside.
You will be welcomed by one of the staff, who will accompany you throughout the experience. After a brief introduction on the history of the Palagetto family and the philosophy behind wine production, he will take you to the barrique cellar: the place where the wine rests, matures and takes on its personality.
Here the guided tasting will begin. Goblet in hand, you will taste 4 wines from the estate - 2 whites and 2 reds - each narrated with passion and expertise by the guide, who will illustrate their characteristics, aromas, ideal pairings and winemaking secrets.
Among the wines to be tasted, you may find the famous Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, a white wine that is the symbol of the territory, and Sottobosco, an intense red born from the union of Sangiovese, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The labels offered may vary according to availability and season.
To accompany the wines, a rich platter of typical Tuscan cold cuts, a selection of local cheeses and mixed bruschetta, designed to enhance every sip.
An authentic and convivial experience, lasting about 1 hour, that will make you feel part of the history of this land.

The wine-tasting is reserved for adult participants only. Any accompanying minors or non-tasting adults are welcome; if they wish to eat, a small extra charge will be added as required.
