Have you ever tasted a landscape? In the land of Sagrantino , every sip is a journey through soft hills, clear skies and familiar traditions.
Come and discover what it means to tasteUmbria at the Tenuta di Saragano, 220 unspoilt hectares between Todi and Montefalco, within the Sagrantino DOCG district.
Visit the historic cellar and enjoy a tasting of 6 wines, paired with zero-kilometre products from small local producers. An experience lasting about an hour and a half that will let you discover the authentic flavour of Umbria!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Saragano Estate near Gualdo Cattaneo (PG), in the Sagrantino hills.
Our visit will begin in the historic wine cellar, passing through the barrique cellar and the ageing cave, where we will be able to satisfy our every curiosity about the winemaking process. We will discover the history of this family-run business, founded in 1921: today the estate covers 220 hectares, including vineyards and olive groves, and follows a strictly organic philosophy.
After the visit, which will last about 30 minutes, we will take a seat in the indoor tasting room to taste six of the wines produced by the winery, including one sparkling wine, two white wines and three red wines: unmissable will be the Montefalco Rosso DOC and Sagrantino DOCG, two jewels of the Umbrian wine scene.
We will accompany the tasting with a sampling of bruschetta with home-produced olive oil, cold meats and local cheeses from small producers. It will be a true journey into taste, as tasty and authentic as the territory of Umbria!
The experience will last about 1.5 hours, including a 30-minute visit and 1 hour of tasting.

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying persons who do not drink wine pay a reduced fee, which includes a tour of the cellar and a wine board.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.
