Come and discover the secrets of winegrowing in the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene area with a food-pairing tasting experience at Gai.
Accompanied by a sommelier, you’ll discover the best wine and food pairings from the Prosecco Hills – – to be enjoyed in a private garden overlooking the vineyards!
What we will do
The event takes place at the selected time at the meeting point in Gai, in the province of Treviso, set against the backdrop of the Prosecco Hills. We’ll be welcomed by Sara, the sommelier, who’ll be on hand to guide us through a guided tasting session at the table.
Our guide will introduce us to the local winemaking tradition and the different expressions of the Valdobbiadene and Conegliano regions, enriching each tasting with anecdotes and interesting facts about the wineries and native grape varieties.
Seated in the private garden, we’ll be able to choose the tasting itinerary that best suits us. The options include tasting 2, 4 or 6 glasses of local wine, such as Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Verdiso, Manzoni and other red wines from the Colli di Conegliano and Marzemino Passito.
To round off the experience, each glass will be accompanied by canapés, tasting portions or a paired dish prepared with local produce.
The experience will last approximately 1 or 2 hours ( depending on the tasting option chosen) .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is for adults only. Any accompanying minors may take part in the experience at a reduced rate, whilst children aged 3 and under participate free of charge.
The venue is accessible to people with mobility issues (please inform the organiser of your requirements) .
Other information
The experience generally takes place from April to October and is confirmed subject to a minimum of two people. In the event of bad weather, the tasting will take place in the designated indoor areas.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the venue using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know of any dietary requirements.
Dogs are allowed in the communal areas and outdoors.
There is no free car park on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport ( we recommend travelling by car or arranging a transfer or train journey to Conegliano with the venue) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
