Winery visit with wine tasting near Parma

It is said that the air in the Parma hills is always a little crisp. .. Could it be the fault of Lambrusco?

Or perhaps it is the fault of Cantina La Bandina, where the bubbles are born from the adoption of the traditional Emilian method, resulting in wines 'like those of yesteryear'.

In an hour and a half, you will stroll through organic vineyards, visit the winery and taste 5 glasses of red, rosé and sparkling wines. Get ready for a toast out of the ordinary!

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at Cantina La Bandina in Casatico di Langhirano (PR) nestled in the Emilian hills. We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to introduce us to the history and production philosophy of this young winery , guardian of the traditional Emilian method.

Weather permitting, we will begin the visit with a walk through the vineyards, where we will discover the secrets of organic and biodynamic cultivation. Alternatively, the explanation will be held on the panoramic terrace, from which we will still be able to admire the rows of vines that stretch across the hills of Parma.

We will then continue with a visit to the cellar, where the wine comes to life thanks to the process of re-fermentation in the bottle, the heart of the traditional Emilian method. We will take a close look at the barrels and vats, listening to how tradition and innovation come together to give life to authentic, living wines.

Finally, we will sit down for a guided tasting of five wines, including Malvasia Spumante Sui-Lieviti Perpetuo, Rosé de Noir Spumante Brut Nature, Lambrusco Spumante Brut Rosé de Saignée, Sir'A Syrah Rosato and Barbera Barrique 24 - La Costa. We can accompany the tasting with a platter of cold cuts and Parmigiano Reggiano (available on request at €15. 00) .

The experience will last approximately 1. 5 hours in total .

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only, but accompanying under-age guests may attend free of charge as guests, without tasting.

The facility is accessible to wheelchairs and/or pushchairs.

The experience is available all year round.

In the event of bad weather, the activity will only take place inside the winery, excluding the vineyard walk.

Dogs are allowed provided they are on a leash.

There is free parking on site and a camper van area on request. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, so arriving by car is recommended.
