Breaking news: a stress-busting experience has been spotted in Assisi!
If you want to try it, all you have to do is come to the province of Perugia: you can take part in a tasting of four wines, walk among the rows of a vineyard and have a picnic in the countryside with typical Umbrian products.
With such a programme. .. you can't help but relax!
What we will do
The appointment is at 11: 00 a. m. at the meeting point in Assisi, in the province of Perugia. We will find ourselves at a farm surrounded by splendid vineyards and we will be welcomed by a wine expert guide, who will accompany us on this adventure.
We will begin the experience with a guided tasting of four wines (included) , which will be told to us in all their nuances. In particular, the grape varieties cultivated include Chardonnay, Grechetto, Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Alicante and Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting will be accompanied by crackers or neutral-flavoured snacks, to allow us to better appreciate the characteristics of the wines on offer.
After the tasting we will receive a map of the estate and take a free walk in the vineyard (included) : along the way we will find illustrative notice boards dedicated to wine and viticulture and we will be able to admire magnificent views of Assisi.
Finally, we will be given a picnic basket with local products (included) : olive oil from the farm, bruschetta, torta al testo, Umbrian cheeses (also with truffles) , typical cold cuts and traditional sweets. All accompanied by water and 1 glass of wine per person, to be chosen from those tasted during the tasting. The picnic takes place directly between the rows of vines, on a deck provided by the organisation; in the event of cool or damp weather, we can move to the panoramic veranda equipped with tables, chairs and cushions.
The experience will last about 2½ hours in total, but you can stay in the vineyard as long as you wish for some relaxation!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 6. Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Children under the age of 18 will be served non-alcoholic beverages and are entitled to a reduced rate ("Children" option in the booking box) .
Non-alcoholic options are also available for teetotal participants (in this case, the tariff remains unchanged) .
The facility and the vineyard are wheelchair-accessible.

The experience takes place all year round, every day except Wednesdays, and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
In case of food allergies and intolerances, please contact the organisers at the contact details in your booking confirmation email to request an alternative. No alternatives for coeliacs are available.
Dogs are allowed.
In the event of bad weather, the activity may take place indoors or be postponed, according to participants' preferences.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , while free parking spaces are available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
