Discover the wines of the Macerata hills with a winery visit and tasting in Morrovalle.
Azienda Agricola Capinera opens its doors to you for an authentic 2-hour experience, discovering this family-run business and the flavours of the territory, in front of a panorama that sweeps from the vineyards to the Sibillini Mountains and the sea.
Taste three wines from the winery, accompanied by typical local cold cuts and cheeses, and get ready for a real sensory journey!
What we will do
We will meet at theAzienda Agricola Capinera in Morrovalle (MC), where we will be welcomed outside the winery with a spectacular view of the vineyards and the surrounding landscape, from the Sibillini Mountains to the coast.
Here will begin our journey to discover the Capinera family's winemaking tradition, handed down from generation to generation. We will enter the winery to learn more about wine production techniques and visit the impressive underground barrique cellar .
After this introductory part, which will last about 45 minutes, we will sit down for a wine tasting. Weather permitting, we will settle under the porch or directly on the lawn, to enjoy the enchanting panorama. In the event of adverse weather conditions or in the colder season, we will move to the cellar.
We will taste 3 wines, accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses :
- a glass of Brut Rosé sparkling wine;
- a glass of basic white or red wine such as Marche IGT La Capinera, Ribona or Colli Maceratesi DOC Giacopetto;
- a goblet of reserve wine such as Ribona Colli Maceratesi DOC Murrano, Marche Chardonnay IGT, Rosso Piceno DOC Duca Guardenio or Merlot IGT Cardinal Minio.
The total duration of the activity will be approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 10 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors may participate in the experience free of charge.
The winery is wheelchair-accessible, but does not have toilets suitable for people with mobility problems.
Other information
Tastings take place all year round, from Thursday to Saturday (excluding holidays), and are confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.

The winery is not accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site for guests.
Dogs are allowed, on a leash. If you wish to bring your four-legged friend with you, please let the organisers know in advance.
