We say it without fear: this could be the most impressive toast of your life.
Come and explore the scenic vineyard of the Florami winery, on the slopes of Vesuvius, one of the very few in Italy to practise the rare vine-growing technique of "piede franco".
For the occasion you will taste two labels of macerated whites, accompanied by the genuine flavours of casatiello and Neapolitan taralli!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Azienda Agricola Florami in Trecase (NA) in the beautiful setting of the slopes of Vesuvius. We will be welcomed by Mario, the owner, or an experienced sommelier to begin our experience.
We will immediately start with a walk through the main vineyard, a natural balcony overlooking the sea. As we walk between the rows of vines, the guide will describe to us the technique of the "piede franco" vineyard, a very rare practice that preserves the original plants without grafting onto American vines, keeping the soul of the local wine intact. We will then reach a vantage point perfect for taking souvenir photos with Vesuvius behind us and the Gulf of Naples in front of us.
We will then proceed to the tasting area, choosing, depending on the season, a shaded terrace or the interior of a renovated ancient Vesuvian farmhouse .
Here we will get to the heart of the experience with the tasting of two macerated white wines produced according to the organic method, discovering the secrets of this ancient winemaking technique that enhances indigenous grape varieties such as Falanghina.
The wines will be served to us one at a time to appreciate each nuance, all accompanied by local baked goods such as breadsticks, taralli and the typical casatiello.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total .

It is not wheelchair accessible, as the tour takes place entirely in the vineyard.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
