When you see the view of the Marche hills from this panoramic terrace, you will understand why Leopardi entitled his famous poem 'The Infinite'.
It is precisely this splendid natural setting that will provide the backdrop for your lunch with wine pairings, passionately produced by the Tenuta Cocci Grifoni. And that's not all: a member of the family will accompany you on a tour of discovery of this Marche Region wine estate, visiting the cooperage and wine library.
A3-hour experience to toast to in company!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 12.30 p.m. at Tenuta Cocci Grifoni in San Savino di Ripatransone (AP). We will be welcomed by a member of the family, who will accompany us on a discovery of this wine tourism reality in the Marche!
The experience will begin with anintroduction to the family business, a history that dates back to 1933 and continues to the present day with the fourth generation.
We will continue with a visit to the barrel cellar: we will walk through the home of Rosso Piceno among cement, steel and characteristic oak barrels; we will then reach the scenographic wine library where we will find all the bottles produced from the 1940s to the present day, admiring the evolution of the labels over time. And finally we will explore the production area with the bottling machine, a contemporary rarity!
At the end of the 30-minute visit, we will climb up to the panoramic terrace, which will give us a unique view of the town of Ripatransone, the hills of the Tesino Valley and the sea on the horizon. This scenario will provide the backdrop for our lunch (included), which will include 5 courses symbolising the culinary tradition of the Marche region (two starters, first course, second course, dessert); all accompanied by 3 wines from the Tenuta Cocci Grifoni, paired with the dishes and expertly described during the service.
The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. A non-alcoholic accompaniment is reserved for underage participants, astemics and pregnant women.
The wine cellar and wine library are wheelchair-accessible; lunch will take place on another panoramic terrace on the first floor. Please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request support on arrival.

Attention! In the event of bad weather, lunch will be held in an indoor hall with glass walls and a panoramic view.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Small dogs are only allowed in the indoor halls, they are not allowed on the panoramic terrace. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to check if you can bring your four-legged friend with you.
