Wine and olive oil are Tuscany’s finest products.
And indeed, they feature prominently in our food and wine experience in Cervognano Montenero: you’ll visit a family-run winery, discover the secrets of wine-making and taste the finest wines accompanied by bruschetta with the estate’s own olive oil.
An experience lasting over an hour, with an authentic Tuscan flavour!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cervognano Montenero, a hamlet of Montepulciano (SI) . The experience takes place at Cantina Chiacchiera, a family-run winery in the Tuscan hills.
On arrival, we’ll meet the guide and the other participants. The experience will begin with a walk through the vineyard: we’ll explore the family, the estate, the vineyard work and the organic practices.
We’ll then reach the outdoor fermentation area, before continuing with a guided tour of the cellar: first, we’ll enter the ageing area, lined with wooden barrels, then the bottling and storage area.
Finally, we’ll sit down for a wine tasting: we’ll sample four wines, including Vino Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, accompanied by bruschetta dressed with the estate’s own olive oil.
The experience lasts approximately one and a half hours in total.

The wine tasting is reserved for participants of legal age only.

The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached. In the event of bad weather, the walk through the vineyard will be replaced by a multimedia presentation.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
