Take part in our wine cellar visit and wine tasting in San Gimignano: in the company of a sommelier, you will learn more about wine production and taste the best labels at Agriturimo Mormoraia.
An experience of over 1 hour that will leave you with an empty glass and a full heart!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at Agriturismo Mormoraia in San Gimignano (SI). We will be met by the sommelier who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a visit to the winery: we will explore the vinification room, the ageing room and the bottling room, delving into the production of wine. These rooms harvest the grapes from 30 hectares of vineyards and transform them into more than 10 varieties of wine using modern winemaking techniques. The visit to the cellar will last approximately 20 minutes.
This will be followed by wine tasting: we will taste 4 wines from the best house labels (including Chianti and Syrah) accompanied by bread and the house oil. The tasting will be enriched by the explanation of the sommelier, who with competence and passion will enhance each sip.
The experience will last a total of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from 18 years of age. Children aged 0 to 3 participate free of charge: please contact the hotel at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over only. Any accompanying minors and pregnant women will participate in the visit to the winery and taste the oil produced on the estate.
The facility is not accessible to persons with motor disabilities. The facility is accessible by pram.
