Take part in our food and wine experience in the province of Terni: in the company of a guide, you will visit a winery to discover the production of wine. Finally, you will taste the best house labels paired with local products and traditional recipes.
An experience of over 1 hour, to be surprised by the taste of Umbria!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at Cantina Santo Iolo in Narni (TR) . On site, we will meet the guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this winemaking reality.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a walk in the vineyard: walking between the rows, we will discover agronomic techniques. This will be followed by a visit to the winery: we will explore the production room, delving into the winemaking process, and the barrique cellar, delving into the ageing process. From the cultivation of the vineyard to bottling, all stages of the production process are 'homemade with love'!
Finally, we will sit down for the tasting: we will taste 4 wines from the best house labels accompanied by 4 samples of local products and/or traditional recipes. From frittatina with Vermentino to porchetta with red wine: the proposal varies according to seasonality and availability of the day, to ensure maximum quality. The tasting will be conducted by the guide, who will enhance each sip (and bite) with competence and passion.
The experience lasts a total of around 1½ hours.

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Minors, teetotalers and pregnant women will only be served wine tasting.
The facility is not accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

Attention! The meeting point is approximately 13 km from the centre of Narni.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The vineyard walk may not take place depending on weather conditions at the guide's discretion. The vineyard walk requires appropriate footwear as it takes place on unpaved and slightly uphill terrain.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
