Have a toast in a winery not far from Rome, with a glass of wine that smells of Umbria.
This is what awaits you at Cantina Santo Iolo, in Narni: in the company of a guide, you will discover the entire production process by walking through the vineyard, exploring the cellar and tasting the house's best labels.
A 1. 5-hour experience of craftsmanship and modern technology.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at Cantina Santo Iolo in Narni (TR) . We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this winemaking reality.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with the wine tasting, which, depending on the option chosen, will be composed as follows
- Basic tasting: includes 3 glasses of the best house labels including whites, reds and rosés according to availability, accompanied by crostini dressed with home-produced olive oil, pâtés and creams with local ingredients.
- Tasting Plus: includes 4 glasses of the best house labels including whites, reds and rosés according to availability, accompanied by a platter of cold meats, cheeses, bread, home-produced olive oil, pâtés and creams with local ingredients.
The wine tasting will take place inside the cellar or outside, under a scenic portico overlooking the vineyard. This first moment will last approximately 40 minutes.
This will be followed by a visit to the winery: we will explore the production room, delving into the winemaking process, and the barrique cellar, delving into the ageing process. From cultivation of the vineyard to bottling, all stages of the production process are 'home-made with love'!
The exploration will continue with a walk through the vineyard, with the possibility of walking between the rows to discover agronomic techniques.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying minors, pregnant women and astemics participate at a reduced cost. Children up to the age of 5 participate free of charge: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate attendance.
The facility is not accessible by wheelchair and/or pushchair.

Attention! Cantina Santo Iolo is about 13 km from the centre of Narni.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The walk through the vineyard takes place on a dirt road and slightly uphill; appropriate footwear is therefore required.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid.
