Have a toast in a winery not far from Rome, with a glass of wine that smells of Umbria.
This is what awaits you at Cantina Santo Iolo, in Narni: in the company of a guide, you will discover the entire production process by walking through the vineyard, exploring the cellar and tasting the house's best labels.
A 1. 5-hour experience of craftsmanship and modern technology.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at Cantina Santo Iolo in Narni (TR) . We will be welcomed by a guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this winemaking reality.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a walk in the vineyard: walking between the rows, we will discover agronomic techniques. This will be followed by a visit to the winery: we will explore the production room, delving into the winemaking process, and the barrique cellar, delving into the ageing process. From the cultivation of the vineyard to bottling, all stages of the production process are 'homemade with love'!
Finally, we will sit down for the tasting:
- Basic tasting: includes 3 glasses of the best house labels including whites, reds and rosés according to availability, accompanied by crostini dressed with local ingredients such as home-produced olive oil, pâtés and creams.
- Tasting Plus: includes 4 glasses of the best house labels , including whites, reds and rosés according to availability, accompanied by a platter of cured meats, cheeses and crostini dressed with local ingredients such as home-produced olive oil, pâtés and creams.
The experience lasts a total of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from 18 years of age. Children from 0 to 5 years of age participate free of charge: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their attendance.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over only. Minors, teetotalers and pregnant women will only be served accompanying food.
The venue is not wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

Attention! The meeting point is approximately 13 km from the centre of Narni.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The vineyard walk may not take place depending on weather conditions at the guide's discretion. The vineyard walk requires appropriate footwear as it takes place on unpaved and slightly uphill terrain.
