Full description
Come to Lake Garda to discover Wing Foil, the water sport of the moment, and learn how to harness the energy of the wind and waves to speed across the surface of the water.
The course consists of 3 lessons of 2 hours each, in which an expert instructor will teach you the theory and practice of the discipline, starting from the basics up to the most complex and spectacular manoeuvres and evolutions, depending on your level.
The activity will take place in Malcesine, a beautiful lakeside town in the province of Verona that also hosts the training sessions of the Italian Wing Foil Champion. Absolutely not to be missed!
What we will do
You will meet theinstructor at the surf centre in Malcesine (VR). You will start with a briefing to assess your level and a theoretical part on the discipline and the use of equipment.
The practical part will begin with handling the wing on land and will continue with entering the water aboard a SUP or surf board, to begin to get familiar with surfing in more stable conditions. The objective of this phase will be to be able to navigate while maintaining a course and perform basic manoeuvres such as heeling, leaning, tacking and jibing.
When the instructor deems it appropriate, you will switch to the hydrofoil board, which has the advantage of decreasing friction with the water and allowing for greater dynamics and speed. In general, the feature that has made the Wing Foil appreciated and popular among water sports enthusiasts is the ease of handling the wing, its manoeuvrability and the ability to sail at high speeds even in low winds.
Over the course of the 3 lessons you will learn to sail independently and, depending on your level, you will be able to push yourself in the practice of tricks and evolutions, bringing out the full fun potential of this incredible sport!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and no previous experience is needed. Good physical condition and the ability to swim at least 50 metres is required. The practice of related disciplines such as windsurfing or kitesurfing is a plus. Participation is possible from the age of 14.
Other information
This activity is bookable from March to October, weather permitting.
After the first lesson, you will arrange the other two with the instructor.
You can leave all your personal belongings in the changing room at the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
