Zipline to Furore on the Amalfi Coast: family flight

An experience for the whole family to enjoy together!

This is precisely the case with our family-friendly zipline flight along the Amalfi Coast. It starts at the departure station in Furore and lands at the arrival station in Conca dei Marini, attached to a steel cable suspended above the Fiordo di Furore.

What we will do

I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Furore (SA). This will be the splendid natural setting that will be the backdrop to your zipline flight: the Fiordo di Furore, a natural gorge that makes the scenery of the Amalfi Coast even more evocative.

Upon your arrival at the departure station in Furore, I will hand you over and have you put on theequipment you need for the experience. You and your family will then be attached to pulleys that will travel along a 700-metre steel cable in 1½ minutes to the Conca dei Marini arrival station. When you book, you can choose to fly as a single or as a couple (according to the legend under 'other information').

A true flying experience, suspended in the air above the Amalfi Coast: in front of you you can admire the Gulf of Salerno, to your left the Capo di Conca promontory and to your right the Li Galli Islands and the Faraglioni of Capri. As well known as these attractions are, few can claim to have seen them from this unique perspective!

Once at the arrival station, I will help you disengage from the pulley; to return to the departure station in Furore you can use the additional shuttle service (not included). The experience lasts a total of 30 minutes, but you will be able to spend additional time in thepanoramic area reserved for accompanying persons and participants.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or present signed authorisation and a copy of a parent's ID.

The weight limit for participation is a minimum of 35 kg and a maximum of 120 kg (including in pairs).

The activity is not suitable for persons suffering from heart disease, epilepsy and incompatible diseases; it is not recommended for pregnant women.

The experience is available from May to September.

When booking, you can choose between flying as a single or flying as a couple, as follows:

• 3 participants: 1 single + 1 couple
• 4 participants: 2 pairs
• 5 participants: 2 pairs + 1 single
• 6 participants: 3 pairs

We remind participants that it is forbidden to wear unsecured foot wear (slippers, flip-flops). It is forbidden to wear contact lenses; it is compulsory to wear any eyeglasses secured with a lanyard. We recommend that you do not wear a swimming costume and do not carry any unsecured accessories that could fall out.

The centre can be reached by public transport on the SITA bus from Amalfi or Agerola, getting off at the Schianto stop. The shuttle service to return from Conca dei Mariani to Furore can be purchased when booking at an additional cost of €7.5 per person: choose the "flight + shuttle" option.

Companions are welcome in the gazebo area from which they can observe the flight.

It is possible to request helmets with GoPro mounts for filming the flight, at no extra charge, or to rent a GoPro on site for 5€ (in this case, remember to bring a micro SD card from home to record the video on, or buy it on site for 12€).

Want to add a snack to your experience? Contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking email to request "'a marenna a volo a volo", a typical snack from Campania prepared by a traditional osteria in Furore; it includes a homemade sandwich with a filling of your choice to be communicated at the time of request, starting from €12.00 per person. The snack can be eaten in the scenic central refreshment area or taken away.

While waiting for your flight, you can also request an aperitif with snacks (€10 per person, payable locally), to be enjoyed in the shade of wisteria and jasmine.
