Zipline at Furore on the Amalfi Coast: parallel flight

The Amalfi Coast offers breathtaking views and unforgettable landscapes among the cobalt blue of the sea, the green of nature and the bright colours of its villages. As of today, however, this land also offers anadrenalin-pumping experience to all those who are always in search of excitement!

The Furore zipline is a fun-recreational cableway that crosses the famous Fiordo di Furore and reaches Conca dei Marini: you slide 650 metres along a steel cable suspended in the void in front of a magnificent panorama.

With the parallel flight you can enjoy the experience together with a friend or family member, flying at the same time, side by side on two parallel cables. Get ready to scream with joy!

What we will do

The zipline 's starting point is located in Furore (SA), a locality known for its famous fiord, the inlet that recesses into the rock, welcoming an emerald crystal-clear sea: one of the symbols of the Amalfi Coast.

The facility is the only one in Italy to be equipped with two lines and, therefore, to offer the possibility of a parallel flight. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff who will hand you your helmets and harness you to the pulleys to then set you off.

You will fly suspended in the air, side by side, sliding down the 650-metre steel cable at full speed for 1½ minutes: it will be pure excitement!

At the arrival station, the staff will unhook you from the pulley and you can take a shuttle service (6€ to be paid separately) back to the starting point where, in the shade of a gazebo , you can linger and enjoy the view. The entire gulf of Salerno will open up before your eyes, and you will be able to see the promontory of Capo di Conca to the left, while to the right your gaze will go as far as the Li Galli islands and, a little further on, the Faraglioni of Capri.

Who it is aimed at

Zipline flying is an activity suitable for everyone, requiring no specific skills. You only need to be in good health and weigh between 35 and 120 kg. There are no age limits (minors must be accompanied by their parents or present signed authorisation and a copy of the parent's ID).

Attention. Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time.

This activity is available from May to September.

It is possible to arrive at the departure station either by your own means or by the SITA bus from Amalfi for those coming from the coast, or from Agerola for those coming from Naples, getting off at stop Schianto n°19.

The shuttle service to return from Conca dei Mariani to Furore can be purchased when booking at an additional cost of €7.5 per person: choose the "flight + shuttle" option.

It is possible to request helmets with GoPro attachments to film the flight, at no extra charge, or to rent a GoPro on site at the price of 5€ (in this case, remember to bring a micro SD card from home to record the video on, or purchase it on site for 12€).

Companions who do not fly can stay in thegazebo area and observe the flight of family/friends.

It is possible to make the second flight on the same day at a reduced price of 60€ (subject to availability to be checked at the time). The offer is valid for the same couple who made the first flight (by showing a ticket or previous booking).

It is forbidden to fly the zipline wearing sandals, flip-flops and shoes that are not properly secured. Those wearing goggles must properly secure them so that they do not fall off.

If you would like to fly alone, take a look at the single zip line flight or, if the two of you do not weigh more than 120 kg, you can try the pair zipline flight.

After booking, you can request 'a marenna a volo a volo, a typical Campania snack prepared by a traditional Furore tavern, to be eaten in the zipline's panoramic refreshment area. It includes a homemade sandwich with a filling of your choice (to be indicated at the time of booking, from €12 per person, payable locally). You can choose to eat it in thezipline's panoramic refreshment area, or take it away to enjoy by the sea if you decide to stop for a swim.

While waiting for your flight, you can also ask for an aperitif with snacks (10€ per person, payable locally), to be enjoyed in the shade of the wisteria and jasmine.
