Experience the thrill of riding a horse for the first time and ride 5 km through the Monferrato hills!
You will do a part of the lesson in the field to familiarise yourself with the horse, and then leave the stables for a simple one-hour ride in the company of the equestrian guide.
This activity is perfect for families with children from 6 years of age, to experience a carefree hour in nature.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castell'Alfero (AT), where the equestrian guide will be waiting for us in the company of his horses and ponies, our extraordinary walking companions.
The first part of the activity will consist of a series of field exercises that will allow us to get to know and approach the ponies and horses chosen for the walk. It will be a magical moment, during which we will break the ice with these magnificent animals and learn to balance on the saddle.
Once the preparatory phase is over, we will leave the ranch on horseback and keep avery slow pace so as to have a real nature walk. We will be surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of the hills and forests of Monferrato.
The approximately 5-km route will be very easy, also suitable for families. Children will be able to ride ponies or horses suited to their stature, led by the guide to ensure maximum safety. After an hour's ride, we will return to the ranch, happy to have spent time with our tender companions!
The total duration of the activity, between initial lesson and horseback ride, is approximately one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for ages 6 and up.
A weight not exceeding 90 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The activity takes place all year round, weather permitting.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
English riding is used for the walk.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
