Full description
Experience the thrill of climbing into the saddle of a horse for the first time and ride 5 km in the unique landscape of the Monferrato hills.
First you will do a part of the lesson in the field to become familiar with the horse, then you will leave the stables for a simple one-hour ride in the company of the equestrian guide.
This activity is perfect for families with children from 6 years of age to experience a carefree hour in nature.
What we will do
We will meet at the ranch in Castell'Alfero (AT), where the horses and ponies that will be our extraordinary walking companions await us.
The first part of the activity will consist of a series of field exercises that will allow us to get to know and approach the ponies and horses chosen for the walk. It will be a magical moment, during which we will break the ice with these magnificent animals and learn to balance on the saddle.
Once the preparatory phase is over, we will leave the ranch on horseback and keep avery slow pace so as to have a real nature walk. We will be surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of the hills and forests of Monferrato.
The approximately 5-km route will be very easy, also suitable for families. Children will be able to ride ponies or horses suited to their stature, led by the guide to ensure maximum safety. After an hour's walk, we will return to the ranch.... and how sad it will be to be separated from our tender companions!
The total duration of the activity, between initial lesson and horseback ride, is about one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is simple and suitable for everyone from 6 years of age.
A weight not exceeding 90 kg is required to participate.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, weather permitting.
It is requested that you arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the lesson for the reception and allocation of horses.
English riding is used for the walk.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
