Do you want to reconnect with nature? Why not do it in beautiful Sardinia with a horseback ride.
All you have to do is climb into the saddle and follow the equestrian guide on our horseback excursion in Gallura. Ride through juniper and myrtle forests, 'swim' on your horse in the Liscia river and cross the granite landscape of the small canyon.
A two-hour ride in the nature of this area, which still proudly preserves its authenticity.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Arzachena (SS). When you see a family of horses running freely on the horizon in the unspoilt landscape of Gallura, you will have found me!
We will begin our activity with a short briefing during which I will provide you with all the information you need to participate in the English-mounted horse ride. I will lead the group in the saddle as the equestrian guide; all the other horses will follow me neatly in single file, having been trained to recognise hierarchical order.
We will then set off to discover this part of Sardinia, crossing different landscapes. Among them is the famous small canyon of Gallura, a natural setting where imposing granite rock formations surround the Mediterranean scrub. Oaks, olive trees, junipers and myrtles will decorate our passage.
And again, we will cross watercourses twice; at a later stage we will 'swim' on horseback in the river (don't forget to bring a change of clothes and shoes to fully enjoy the experience). While with our feet in the water we will wade through the verdant vegetation, we will feel like we are in an exotic location!
After this beneficial immersion in nature, we will return to the meeting point. The experience lasts a total of about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate.
The experience is not suitable for people with disabilities.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience is available from January to December; availability is subject to change, especially during the summer period, depending on the welfare of the horse.

Children may do the activity riding a pony, accompanied on foot by the guide.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
