Full description
If you're looking for a memorable outing just a stone's throw from Florence, you've just found it.
Saddle up for a horseback ride that will take you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. You'll immerse yourself in an enchanting landscape of rolling hills and undulating vineyards, rows of cypress trees and secret stretches of water, such as the suggestive Lake Legri.
And on the way back, just when you think you have already experienced the best, an aperitif with typical cold cuts and cheeses, accompanied by a glass of Chianti awaits you. An experience like this, you won't want to miss it!
What we will do
The appointment is at the riding school in Calenzano, in the province of Florence, at least 10 minutes before the time selected when booking. On arrival, the equestrian guide will welcome us and introduce us to the splendid horses.
For riders with their first experience on horseback, the first 10 minutes will be dedicated to learning the basics: how to start and stop the horse and how to maintain control in the saddle. For those who already have some experience, it will be a review of American riding and communication with the horse.
After leaving the stables, we will ride into Travalle Park together with the equestrian guide. We will ride for about 2 hours along flat country paths, letting ourselves be guided at the horses' leisurely pace. Ourpace will allow us to admire the classic Tuscan landscape of rolling hills, cypresses, vineyards and, with a bit of luck, to spot the local wildlife.
We will reach on horseback the charming Lago di Legri, a small lake surrounded by lush vegetation, and return to the riding stables to enjoy a delicious aperitif (included). A platter of local cheeses and cold cuts and a glass of Chianti wine will be waiting for us.
Between briefing, walk and aperitif, the experience lasts a total of about 2 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.
No previous horse ridingexperience is required to participate.
Other information
The activity can take place all year round. There is no minimum number of participants required to confirm the activity, except on Mondays when the minimum number of participants is three.
The mount used is the American mount.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
