Me and the...

My boyfriend and I decided to try something a bit different from the usual and we had a really great time. The staff at the riding school first helped us get to know the horses we were going to ride by letting us brush them and helping to saddle them up, after which we climbed into the saddle and they gave a brief explanation – for those, like my boyfriend, who’d never ridden a horse before – on how to ride and how to move so as to keep the animal as calm as possible. We then went on a lovely ride lasting a good hour or so, surrounded by nature, amongst other animals, little streams and copses. It all ended with a lovely aperitif prepared by the team themselves… Highly recommended ❤️nP.S. I’d like to thank everyone who looked after us, both at the riding school and on the ride ❤️

A top experience

A fairytale landscape, a lovely ride through vineyards and olive groves. Margherita was kind and very helpful. An experience I’d recommend even to those who’ve never ridden a horse before. It’s a shame we’ve come from so far away, otherwise we’d definitely be back!!!

I tried this activity nLet’s start by saying that I had a brilliant time nnGoing into more detail, to get to the Ranch you follow a short dirt track until you reach the site, which has a convenient car park nThe venue is well-equipped for parties, drinks receptions, lunches and dinners, and is surrounded by beautiful rolling countrysidennWhat’s more, the ranch organises a variety of horse-related activities, including rides, lessons and treks nnThe staff are friendly and welcoming, and they look after the horses very well nnThe ride went brilliantly; I felt completely at ease in the saddle. The guide was constantly by my side just in case anything happened.nnAt the end of the ride, a hearty aperitif was waiting for me – practically a full dinner

A truly wonderful experience!

We went on a horse ride through the Pisan countryside, passing by the splendid Certosa di Calci. The route is very pleasant and allows you to take your time enjoying the landscape and the surrounding countryside.nnThe instructors were very helpful and calm, taking all the time needed to explain the basics before we set off and looking after us throughout the ride. We were an international group and they explained and managed everything perfectly in English as well.nnThe horses are calm and composed, and you can tell they’re looked after with great care – something we particularly appreciated.nnThe idea of an aperitif after the ride was also lovely: dips and typical Tuscan specialities accompanied by an excellent wine. The attention to dietary requirements was also much appreciated, with a gluten-free option featuring bread and crisps.

A special hen party!

The whole thing was organised, in collaboration with the owners of the riding school and the farm stay where we had lunch, for the hen party of a dear friend who is a huge fan of the equestrian world. Our guide, Aisha, was impeccable and attentive. The horses we were assigned at the start of the day proved to be calm throughout the ride, responding perfectly to commands, making the experience suitable even for those with less experience. The phenomenal lunch was prepared nwith love and care by Massimo and his family. We really couldn’t have asked for more!nA special thank you to Barbara, who came to pick us up by car at Pontassieve station. nA truly special place, run by skilled, helpful and cheerful people, who made every moment a pleasure. A big thank you to everyone – see you next time!
