The Syracuse countryside is waiting for you: are you ready to discover it on horseback?
We are waiting for you for a 2-hour ride in the heart of Sicily: accompanied by an expert guide, you will learn all the techniques for holding the reins and moving at pace.
Along a flat route dotted with greenery and mountains on the horizon, you will ford the bed of a former river, relax in contact with nature and receive anunforgettable souvenir photo of the experience.

What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Syracuse at the time chosen during the booking process (show up 15 minutes early!).
After welcoming all the participants and getting to know the horses, which are ready for the ride, we will proceed with a short briefing.
The guide will explain how to hold the reins, ride in step and all the basics to do the activity safely and at ease. With the more experienced riders, we will instead consider trotting or galloping (depending on the level of the participants), always under my supervision.
Afterwards, we will mount the saddle to begin the walk. After leaving the golf course, we will immerse ourselves in the unique landscape of the Syracuse countryside, with greenery and mountains in the distance.
The entire route will be on flat stretches, suitable for all levels, and we will cross the bed of a former river, now dry. Photos will be taken of all participants, which will then be forwarded via Whatsapp.
After a two-hour walk we will return to the riding stables.
Who it is aimed at
Activity suitable for all, from 14 years of age. No horse riding experience is required.

Activities take place all year round, every day.
The riding school can be reached by car but not by public transport: a shuttle service can be booked on request at an extra cost. To request it, contact the guide (his contact details will be sent to you by e-mail with the booking confirmation).
The riding is English style.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
