A wonderful experience!

My partner has always dreamed of going horse-riding, so for his birthday I decided to treat him to this experience. For the occasion, we chose Anthony and his wonderful horses.nAlthough we were both beginners, it was a wonderful experience, enjoyed in an atmosphere of great peace and tranquillity. We rode through the pine forest, along the beach and then up to a hilltop from where we could admire a breathtaking sunset.nWhat can I say? We really felt at home. Anthony and his team welcomed us with professionalism, kindness and passion. Trust them without hesitation: you won’t regret it!

A chance for anyone to enjoy a lovely sunset horse ride on the beach

What an incredible experience this was. The whole family was there to guide us. We were given a brief introduction to the horses, their background and how they interact, and Luigi quickly translated any questions we had using his digital translator. His whole family first took us on a walk through the reserve so that we could get to know the horses before we ended up walking them to the beach. The experience is suitable for everyone, especially beginners. The horses are well-trained and behave exceptionally well. There was no fear, no sudden reactions and no problems whilst riding. We were matched with a horse suited to our height and weight, and then we set off. My partner had been scared following an old horse-related accident, but this experience helped her reconnect with horses. What a wonderful experience. My only suggestion is that protective gear and helmets should be provided. After all, these are animals and anything can happen.

Well worth the money!

We had a brilliant time; we took the route from the city to Mount Etna, which took us to a lovely winery (Gambino). The horses were a bit snacky but very well-behaved, easy to control and well desensitised. The team packed us some water and sandwiches, which were perfect for taking a break and recharging our batteries. We never felt rushed. It was a lovely trail ride – you’ll definitely need long trousers and to watch out for thorns. Good balance is essential for some of the trickier sections of the trail. Stunning views – highly recommended!

A walk at sunset

We went on a two-hour horse ride through the nature reserve and along the beach, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Riding at sunset, with the sea stretching out before us, and watching a stunning red moon rise made it all the more magical.nA special thank you to Luigi, our guide, and to all the staff who looked after the group with professionalism, kindness and care, making us feel safe at all times.nnBeautiful, well-looked-after horses. An experience we would absolutely recommend!
