2-hour horseback ride in the province of Syracuse and aperitif

If you are looking for a way to unplug and relax in nature, this 2-hour horse ride in the province of Syracuse is for you!

Move at a leisurely pace along dirt tracks as you admire the rich vegetation of the Anapo Valley and become familiar with your horse. An equestrian guide will always be by your side and will teach you the useful commands for riding.

Upon returning to the stables, a fantastic aperitif will be waiting for you to end the experience with a full belly!

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Buscemi (SR), where our equestrian guide will be waiting for us. He will immediately introduce us to the horses that will accompany us on the experience, which will already be saddled.

In a 10-minute briefing, we will become familiar with our new friends and learn how to give them simple commands. At this point, we will be ready to go for the ride! We will mount the saddle and follow the guide, who will lead us on horseback proceeding at pace.

The paths we will ride are part of the Anapo Valley, a nature reserve that is home to rich and fascinating vegetation. The valley also takes its name from the Anapo river that washes it: during the walk we will cross it on horseback! It will be an easy crossing, at a point where there is less water flowing.

Along the way we will be able to relax, get in touch with the nature around us and stop to take some souvenir photos!

The activity, which will take place entirely on unpaved terrain, will end with a return to the starting point and will last a total of 2 hours.

On our return to the riding stables, a delicious aperitif (included) with local products such as cold meats, cheeses and jams, bruschetta, peperonata, prosecco and soft drinks will await us: the perfect conclusion to a great experience!

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 8 and up. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 can participate subject to signing a waiver by a responsible adult.

The course is of an easy level, suitable for a first horse ride.

Participants must have a maximum weight of 120 kg.

The activity is available all year round.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, while free parking spaces are available nearby.

The riding can be English or American style. The guide will lead on horseback but, in the case of small children, may lead on foot with a longhorn.

An aperitif will be offered during the activity. In the event of allergies and intolerances, an alternative can be requested in advance via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Any accompanying persons can wait at the riding stables. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash and if you inform the activity organisers in advance via the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail.
