Full description
Spend a few hours completely immersed in nature just half an hour from Perugia.
Leaving from Umbertide, you will explore for 3 hours on horseback the paths of the rolling Umbrian hills among centuries-old woods, fords, streams and cultivated fields.
During this ride, suitable for experienced riders, you will discover an area of extraordinary scenic value in the company of an equestrian guide, who will accompany you on horseback throughout the experience.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Umbertide (PG) agriturismo, immersed in a magnificent natural setting on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will immediately take us to meet the horses at the riding school.
After a half-hour briefing to go over basic horse handling techniques, we will set off on our ride. We will follow a scenic route around the riding school, up and down the Umbrian hills.
We'll ride for 3 hours through age-old forests, fords, streams and cultivated fields, keeping a briskpace to get the most of the landscape around us and get in tune with our horse. The guide will accompany us on horseback for the entire route.
At the end of our ride we will return to the stables. The activity will last approximately 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is aimed at experienced riders: knowledge of the different gaits, from stride to gallop, is required.
The minimum age for participation is 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Horses can be ridden by persons with a maximum weight of 95 kg.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
