Full description
Treat yourself to a 3-hour private boat tour in Santa Maria di Leuca. The skipper will take you to discover the wonders of the Riviera di Ponente and Riviera di Levante together with your friends and family.
You will admire the spectacle of two coastal stretches dotted with impressive caves. In the East, the Grotta dell'Ortocupo, Grotta dei Gabbiani and Grotta della Vora await you. To the west, on the other hand, you will discover the Grotta di Mesciu Gianni, the Grotta del Drago and the Grotta del Presepe.
The tour also includes two swimming stops of twenty minutes each, one in Levante and one in Ponente. You will return home with the indelible memory of a swim in the sea next to one of Leuca's extraordinary caves.
What we will do
We will meet at the marina in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE), where the 5.8-metre boat we have booked for our exclusive tour will be waiting for us. It is a modern boat, equipped with an awning and shower to allow us a pleasant and comfortable experience.
Once on board, the skipper will head towards the Riviera di Levante and then the Riviera di Ponente (or vice versa, depending on the time of day and weather conditions). We will have the opportunity to observe the two coastal stretches directly from the sea, enjoying a perspective that will allow us to admire the majestic caves at their best.
The Levante Riviera will enchant us with the Grotta dell'Ortocupo, the Grotta dei Gabbiani, the Grotta di Terradico, the Grotta della Vora (also known as the Grotta della Cattedrale), the Grotta del Laghetto and the Grotta delle Mennute. At the penultimate cave of the Levante Riviera tour we will also make a 20-minute swim stop to dive into the crystal clear sea.
We will then resume the excursion, heading first to the last Levante Cave and then to the Riviera di Ponente, where a new natural spectacle awaits us. We will admire the Grotta di Mesciu Gianni, the Grotta del Drago, the Grotta del Presepe, the Grotta del Fiume and the Grotta delle Tre Porte with its three majestic entrances.
As soon as we reach the penultimate cave, we will dive in for the second time. We will thus be able to enjoy a second wonderful marine experience just a few metres from a cave. Once back on board, the tour ends with the last cave on the Riviera di Ponente and the return to port, after about three hours. And with the handing over of a handcrafted ceramic or leather gift made in the family workshop, in memory of this experience in Santa Maria di Leuca!

We will be on board a 5.8-metre boat with a capacity of 7 people and equipped with awning, shower and all necessary safety devices.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
