Get ready to experience the thrill of the Railzip descent in Albaredo per San Marco, near Sondrio.
What are we talking about? We're talking about a thrilling 700-metre course suspended 25 metres above the Bitto Valley, which will allow you to slide in a seated position zigzagging through woods and green meadows.
3 thrilling minutes for those in the mood for an adrenalin rush!
What we will do
The appointment is at the ticket office in Albaredo per San Marco (SO), at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
After completing the formalities, you will proceed to the dressing area, where staff will welcome you to equip you with a harness and helmet.
Once ready, the shuttle will take you to the Railzip starting point in about 10 minutes. Seated and with your feet suspended in the air, the descent begins!
It will be 3 minutes of adrenaline and fun, during which you will glide thanks to the electronic trolley down the 700-metre course. Below you, the spectacular view of the Bitto Valley, among valleys, woods and suspended meadows.
At the end of the descent, you will find yourself only 100 metres from the starting point, ready to recount your epic adventure. Between briefing, shuttle transfer and descent, the activity lasts about 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, just observe the following limits:
- Single descent (Adult): from 12 years of age, with a weight between 40 kg and 100 kg and a minimum height of 140 cm.
- Downhill inpairs (Adult + Child): there is no age limit, but the total weight must not exceed 100 kg. The minimum height is 140 cm.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents or present signed authorisation and a copy of the parent's ID.
The activity is not recommended for heart patients and pregnant women.
Other information
Attention. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity can only be booked by voucher. The descent can take place from May to September.
When purchasing, you can choose between the ' Single Descent' and the 'Couples Descent' in the booking box. Please make sure to observe the required weight and height limits to ensure maximum safety.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.
Any accompanying persons who are not doing the descent can stay at the facility, where there is also a bar.
You can film the activity with your GoPro, if you have it, or rent a camera with a safety clip on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
