Rafting Adventure in the Sordo and Corno rivers in Norcia

Arafting experience that satisfies everyone, but really everyone.

This is our adventure rafting in the Valnerina: spend 1 hour and 45 minutes on an inflatable boat in the company of our guide, tackling a route along the Sordo and Corno rivers that alternates between a peaceful scenic section and a lively adventurous section, enriched with dives and rapids.

And the swimming stop at the Biselli Gorge, no one gives up!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Serravalle (PG); welcoming you to the beautiful natural setting of the Valnerina valley will be me, your guide in this rafting experience!

I will hand over yourequipment and we will proceed with dressing; we will then walk to the boarding point, which is only 50 metres away. During a short briefing I will teach you the commands and directions to follow during the activity for proper behaviour on board. We will then board the dinghy to start getting familiar with the equipment during the first water trials.

We will begin our descent down the Sordo river, a waterway of regular flow and particularly calm so that we can admire the natural panorama. After 200 m, we will"plunge" into the Corno river, which is also calm for the first 3 km and will lead us to the spectacular Biselli Gorge: it is in this canyon that we will stop for a swim, considered one of the most beautiful places in Umbria!

Back on board, we will "dive" through a small chute into the second stretch of the Corno river, the most adventurous: the route will be enriched by rapids that will liven up the descent to the arrival point, which marks the end of the 7 km route, for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes on the raft.

We will then return to the meeting point on board a shuttle, for atotal experience of 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from 2 years of age; children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or have signed authorisation; children aged 2 to 4 years participate in the experience free of charge but must report their presence to the organiser at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Other information

The activity is available from April to October.

Attention! Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.

The experience takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.

The rafts used are designed for large rivers and are therefore very stable, making them suitable for even small participants.

Changing rooms are available at the rafting centre, divided by gender, with a toilet and shower.

Safety lockers are available at the rafting centre secretariat, where personal belongings can be left.

A green area with picnic tables and hammocks is available at the rafting centre for guests and accompanying persons; a brazier is also available on request.

Recommended clothing

• Swimming costume
• Thermal jersey (only in cold weather)
• Trainers (if less than 36, to be wet)
