Full description
If you loveadventure and want to discover the most authentic side of the Val d'Orcia, this is the experience for you: a quad bike tour through scenic roads and dirt tracks in the heart of the Sienese countryside.
You will start from a typical Tuscan farm near Pienza and reach the small village of Petroio, a pearl hidden in the woods and still little known to mass tourism.
An exciting and special tour that combines the beauty of the landscapes with theadrenaline of off-road driving, thanks to a final off-road section with fun technical passages.
What we will do
We will meet at the Tenimenti Andreucci at Podere Pozzuolo in Pienza (SI). We will meet the guide who will accompany us on the tour, and first we will have an introductory briefing and a driving test to break the ice and prepare ourselves for our off-road tour.
An articulated and enjoyable itinerary will await us among forests, white roads and dirt tracks, with fun and adrenaline-pumping technical passages that will put our off-road driving skills to the test (for those who don't feel confident or if the guide deems it appropriate, there is the possibility of a less demanding route variant).
The destination of the tour will be the small village of Petroio, perched on a hill in the middle of green woods. In order to admire it, we will stop at an exceptional viewpoint, one of the few remaining ones still little known to mass tourism and only accessible together with a local connoisseur.
After contemplating the landscape and taking enough photos, we will return to the farm, enjoying a few more adrenaline-filled stretches. In total, the experience will last two hours for a distance of approximately 40 km.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. To participate, you must have a B licence and already have some experience in off-road driving. The minimum age to ride the quad bike as a passenger is 12 years.
Other information
This activity is available from April to October.
The fee of 129€ refers to the driver of the quad bike, while the fee for the passenger is 29€ and there is the possibility of swapping driving. The centre has 6 quad bikes, allowing 6 people to participate as drivers. Each person may bring one passenger for a total of up to 12 participants.
Participants will have to abide by the guide's decision as to whether or not to vary the route if it is deemed unsuitable for the drivers' level of experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
