Who knows what bees are up to in their colourful hives.
We will find out together with abeekeeper, who will welcome us into (her) world of bees. We will learn more about these very important insects by opening their 'little houses', observing them at work and clutching a jar of their honey.
A1-hour experience in the Veneto countryside, surrounded by the melliferous flowers that pollinators like so much!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Cazzago (VE). We will be welcomed by thebeekeeper and environmental educator who will accompany us on this sweet adventure!
The experience will begin with anintroduction to the world of bees: we will learn more about their life cycle and discover how they spend their days according to the season. Depending on whether or not children are present, the story will be more technical-scientific or fable-like; in either case, it will be an opportunity to ask questions to a real beekeeper, finding answers to all our curiosities. This first moment will last about 30 minutes.
We willwalk through the plains and then approach the hives, the bees' 'little houses': the beekeeper will open a beehive and we will be able to admire with our own eyes what the industrious bees are doing inside it at that very moment. All this in a beautiful natural setting in the Veneto countryside, surrounded by the melliferous flowers that pollinating insects like so much. This second moment will last about 30 minutes.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point, before saying goodbye with the handing over of a jar of honey given to us by the beekeeper. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is not wheelchair-accessible due to the terrain; the route is not demanding and suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The experience takes place from April to October.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed to participate in the activity.
