Did you know that in Santa Maria di Leuca you can decide which sea to dive into?
Right where the Ionian and Adriatic seas embrace, an adventure awaits you among impressive cliffs and secret ravines. Join this one-and-a-half-hour boat trip and let the skipper guide you through the extreme edge of Italy.
Whether on the Ionian or Adriatic side, the caves you will visit will leave you speechless. And it will be even better to discover their legends and mysteries!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our boat excursion along the Salento coast!
The tour will follow either the Adriatic side or the Ionian side, both of which are beautiful and full of caves to explore. If we have a preference for either side, we can let the organisers know after the booking confirmation.
On the Adriatic side , we will be able to admire the Cazzafri, Terradico, Verdusella and Ortocupo caves, as well as the unique Grotta del Soffio, Grotta della Vora and Grotta delle Mannute.
On the Ionian side, we will be able to visit the Grotta Porcinara, the Grotta del Diavolo, the Grotta del Fiume, the Grotta delle Tre Porte and the Grotta del Presepe, continuing on to the Grotta dei Giganti, the Grotta del Bambino and the Grotta di Mesciu Scianni.
During the navigation, the skipper will tell us about the history and geological curiosities of the area, while we will remain to admire the entrances to these natural treasures from the boat. We will also find time for a swimming break of about 20-30 minutes.
The tour will end with a return to the meeting point. The activity will last a total of 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay: please communicate their presence to the contacts indicated in your booking confirmation email.
The boat is not easily accessible by wheelchair, except on specific request to be agreed in advance with the organisers; staff can however support passengers with slight mobility difficulties in boarding.

The activity takes place from May to October.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used may be a 7-metre fibreglass boat equipped with awning, shower and ladder; or an 8-metre Stinger28 GT dinghy equipped with awning, sundeck, radi and toilet/dressing area with WC. No shoes are allowed on board.
Small dogs are welcome on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
