Full description
Ionian coast or Adriatic coast, this is the dilemma of an Apulian holiday. This time, however, you won't have to worry about choosing.
Setsail on a3-hour boat trip to the sea caves of Santa Maria di Leuca and explore both coastlines and their majestic caves. From the Grotta del Soffio (Breath Cave ) to the Grotta degli Innamorati (Lovers' Cave), let a skipper guide you through the Apulian sea!
What we will do
The meeting will take place 10 minutes before the agreed time in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE). Awaiting us will be our skipper, ready to accompany us on our tour!
We will set sail from Santa Maria di Leuca along the Adriatic coast, encountering some impressive caves such as Grotta del Soffio, Grotta del Laghetto and Grotta della Vora. We will then reverse course, heading towards the Ionian coast. Here we can admire other wonderful caves such as the Grotta delle Tre Porte and the Grotta degli Innamorati.
During the tour we will have the opportunity to take advantage of two bathroom stops at points recommended by the skipper. During these stops, it will be possible to reach and explore some caves by swimming together with the skipper, which are impossible to penetrate by boat.
Snorkelling equipment will also be made available to us on board so that we can admire the seabed in peace. The sea caves we will encounter, in fact, as well as adding a touch of charm and wonder to the adventure, hide a varied and colourful fauna , all waiting to be discovered!
On board, we can enjoy snacks, water and wine, made available by the crew and ideal for refreshment after a good swim.
With eyes full of beautiful views, we will return to our starting point after a 3-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
Children under 2 years of age do not pay: please inform us of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible. The crew is available to assist participants with reduced mobility in boarding.
Other information
The activity is available every day from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The boat is an 8-metre-long motorboat, equipped with a sundeck, awning, freshwater shower and climbing ladder.
Small dogs are allowed on board. During the excursion they must remain in the participants' arms.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is free parking on site.
