Full description
Rent a motor boat in La Spezia to spend a day at sea with your company of up to 6 people.
Without a licence, you can venture out to discover the main attractions in the surrounding area: from Lerici to Portovenere and the Cinque Terre. You choose where to sail and where to stop, taking advantage of thesnorkelling equipment provided on board for a dip in the Ligurian Sea.
A day with friends and family, during which food and drinks on board will not be missed!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in La Spezia.
Upon your arrival I will hand you over the boat: it is an open Saver 540 motorboat named Ultima, 5.40 metres long with a Yamaha F40 GETL engine and a 65-litre fuel tank; it is equipped with a sundeck, full cushions, extendable sunshade, climbing ladder, fresh water shower, USB stereo and icebox. If you bring your own icebox, you can use it to store food and drinks that you choose to bring on board.
I will then invite you to download afree application to your mobile device that will guide you through the protected marine area; yes, you will be sailing in a beautiful natural setting! It will then be time to hand over the helm to you, because you will be driving this boat without a licence . You can venture out to discover the following nearby attractions: Lerici, San Terenzo, Tellaro, Fiascherino and Portovenere. You can also enter the Cinque Terre National Park, covering the stretch between Riomaggiore and Monterosso in just 6 miles.
At the end of your rental experience you will return to the meeting point. The hire will last 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old; you may drive this boat without a licence.
The passenger has no age limit.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome and should contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October , subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
You remain barefoot on board the boat; shoes are stowed on board.
A maximum of 1 small dog is allowed on board.
