You have waited until you turned 18 to be independent, to drive and to indulge in a glass of wine at the bar. But there is another (and better) reason to be excited.
Being over 18 is the only requirement for chartering a boat at Vieste and setting sail, without the need for a licence, to the beauty of the Gargano.
In the company of your crew of up to 6 people, experience a sailor's day along the Apulian coast on board a 5.50 m boat with a 40 hp engine!
What we will do
The meeting will take place in Vieste (FG), 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
You will find the crew waiting for you, ready to hand over your boat: aSaver 550 motorboat , 5.50 m in length and a 40 HP Suzuki engine.
Before setting off, you will attend a briefing on safety and navigation rules, and receive maps of the area to plan theroute that you and your crew of up to 6 people will follow during your excursion. Accompanied by the skipper, you will make a trial run in the harbour of Vieste, and then start with your navigation.
You will head straight for the Pizzomunno beach, the symbol of the town of Vieste. Continuing on, you will arrive near the bay of San Felice and the bay of Campi, admiring from time to time the caves scattered along the Vieste coastline. The emerald sea and rock formations will make up an incredible panorama, which will be impossible to forget!
Sailing along some 18 km of coastline, you and your crew will head for the Baia delle Zagare, the pearl of the Gargano.
At the end of the charter, which lasts a total of 4.5 or 9 hours depending on the choice you selected when booking, you will return the boat to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
You must be at least 18 years old to charter and drive the boat.
A boating licence is not required.
Passengers of all ages are allowed on board.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.

The charter is available daily from March to September and is intended for private groups of up to 6 persons.
The boat is a Saver 550 motor boat, 5.50 m long and with a 40 HP Suzuki engine. It is equipped with safety equipment, awning, climbing ladder and ice pit (can be purchased at the meeting point).
Small dogs are allowed on board.
Pleasenote! Fuel is not included and will be paid on return to port according to consumption.
Food and drinks may be brought on board.
It is possible to request the presence of a skipper at a cost of €50 for half a day and €100 for the whole day (payable locally).
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. You can leave your car in a free guarded car park.
