Full description
Ah, Gallipoli! It lacks nothing: clear waters, fascinating stories and this unmissable boat trip with aperitif.
Spend three hours in total relaxation sailing along the Apulian coastline and admiring unique views, visible only from the sea.
Meanwhile, you can listen to some interesting facts about the area, dive and snorkel in the waters of Salento. At the end of the excursion, you will already miss it!
What we will do
The meeting point is Gallipoli (LE), 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
We will set sail from the small port Canneto just below the Angevin Castle of Gallipoli. We will sail along the coast while the captain will tell us about the history, culture, and traditions that make this area of Puglia famous throughout Italy and beyond.
We will sail past islets until we reach the famous island of Sant'Andrea. Here we will take the full tour, admire the lighthouse and take the opportunity to do some snorkelling in the clear, turquoise waters.
Then we will move to the south shore for another swim in the vicinity of the Grotta dei Monaci. On board, between stops, we will be served an aperitif (included) with typical Apulian products such as wine, taralli, olives and bruschetta.
Finally, we will head towards Gallipoli, skirting the islet of Campo and the old town, and return to the starting point.
The excursion will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Free and paid parking spaces are available at the port area.
The boat used for the tour is a 9-metre motor boat, equipped with an awning, sundeck and freshwater shower.
During the experience, an aperitif (included) with typical Apulian products such as wine, taralli, olives and bruschetta will be offered. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are not allowed.
