Full description
"The caves are many, millions of millions...". Isn't that how it was?
Perhaps our minds are still on the last boat trip to Castro: in the company of a skipper, you will sail for three hours to discover the Adriatic coast and the sea caves that dot it, from the Grotta degli Innamorati to the Grotta della Zinzulusa.
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castro Marina, a hamlet of Castro (LE). Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure in the sea of Salento!
Once we have gathered all the participants and completed boarding, we will set sail: we will sail along the Adriatic coast to discover the scenic sea caves that dot it. With the boat, we will access the Grotta degli Innamorati, Grotta delle Gemelle, Grotta Palombara and Grotta Azzurra. We will also visit outside the legendary Grotta della Zinzulusa, whose magical history will be revealed to us.
Our next stop will be the Bay of Porto Miggiano, which will be the setting for our first bathing stop. We will then visit outside the Romanelli Cave, nicknamed the 'pearl of Salento prehistory', and make a second bathing stop. We will continue past Santa Cesarea Terme until we reach the place known as Le Luvare, for our last dive. On board we will be offered wine (or soft drinks for those who wish) and some snacks such as taralli and chips.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 participate free of charge: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board.

The experience takes place from April to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The organiser has several boats available for use depending on the number of participants and availability: they are all motorboats equipped with sundeck, awning, shower and climbing ladder. Descriptive brochures in English, French, German and Spanish are provided on board the boat. Shoes are allowed on board the boat. Dogs are allowed on board the boat but you must contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request that you bring your four-legged friend with you.
