Full description
Embark on an exciting boat trip in the Salento. Sailing coast to coast, you can admire the beautiful coves and caves that characterise the southernmost part of the heel of Italy.
Departing from the port of Santa Maria di Leuca, you will first reach the Adriatic coast and then, reversing course, head towards the Ionian coast. You can dive into the crystal-clear waters of Puglia and sunbathe on board the boat.
The perfect excursion if you don't want to miss a single glimpse of the Salento coast.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process at the marina in Santa Maria di Leuca. Here we will meet the skipper and start embarking. When the entire group is on board, we will be ready to depart.
Initially we will sail up the Adriatic. We will be enchanted by the number of caves that have formed over time. In one of them we will have the opportunity to dive from the boat and swim in the crystal-clear waters for about half an hour to discover breathtaking coves overlooking the sea.
Then we will get back on the boat and reverse course, heading towards the Ionian coast. Here too we will encounter wonderful coastal caves and have the chance to dive again to enjoy some more of the beautiful Salento sea.
Some of the caves we will encounter during our navigation are Grotta Mesciu Scianni, where legend has it that a certain Maestro Gianni used to go inside to retrieve stones that he used to make beautiful mosaics. Grotta Fiume , on the other hand, is famous for the presence of freshwater springs inside it, or the Grotta degli innamorati, where the shallow, sandy seabed allows one to walk in and out of the water to relax on enchanting little beaches.
When we are all back on board, after our last swim, we reverse course again, this time to return to the port of Santa Maria di Leuca. The experience lasts about three hours.

If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
