Enjoy the crystal-clear sea of Salento with aboat trip from Torre Vado to Santa Maria di Leuca and discover the natural and architectural beauty of this stretch of coastline.
You will visit the numerous sea caves, natural inlets, and enchanting bays with clear blue water, where it is impossible to resist the urge to dive in.
You will spend three and a half hours in total relaxation and, to round off the experience in the best possible way, you will be served an aperitif of typical Apulian products. Get ready to get on board!
What we will do
The appointment is at the port of Torre Vado (LE), 30 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
After boarding and an introductory briefing, we will start sailing towards Santa Maria di Leuca. The crew will keep us constantly informed about the points of interest we will encounter along the way.
We start with the ancient Saracen tower of Torre Vado and then sail along magnificent beaches and cliffs. The landscape changes as we pass from the Ionian Sea to the Adriatic Sea and, as we approach Leuca, we encounter the first sea caves, some of which can be visited inside, such as the Grotta del Drago.
Arriving in front of the Santa Maria di Leuca marina, we will pause to observe the villas and the lighthouse, listening to the stories and legends that characterise this place. Then we will continue sailing towards other caves, bays and inlets until we reach the Grotta della Vora.
We will make a stop of about 30 minutes to swim in the Ionian Sea. On the way back, we will be served an aperitif of wine and typical Apulian products.
In total, the activity will last about 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children from 0 to 2 years of age participate free of charge , but it is necessary to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence on board.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed once 10 participants are reached.
Departure times may be subject to slight variations. In that case, you will be notified by the organisation a few days before the scheduled date.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
