Full description
Board a typical boat and depart from Gallipoli for a3-hour gozzo excursion.
You will discover the island ofSant'Andrea, one of the few islands in Salento and located a few kilometres off the coast of Gallipoli. You will observe the ancient walls and theAngevin Castle in the company of an experienced captain and new companions.
You will spend fun-filled moments diving and snorkelling at the base of the majestic lighthouse overlooking the island. At the end of the tour, an appetising Salento aperitif!
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process in Gallipoli (LE). I will be waiting for you on board my boat, an 8-metre touring gozzo. Once everyone(up to 11 participants) has boarded, we will be ready to drop anchor and set off!
We will sail along the old city walls and admire the ancient Angevin Castle. We will continue along the coast of the Spiaggia Della Purità, the only one in the old town, and only then turn towards theisland of Sant'Andrea.
We will observe the island's imposing lighthouse, built in 1866, and then stop for an hour or so for a stop for diving and snorkelling in the crystal-clear water of the place. We will then be served a typical Salento aperitif on board, including water, prosecco and a mix of dry snacks.
Throughout the experience, we will be accompanied by good music on board and we will be able to capture the best moments with a GoPro available on the boat.
The activity lasts 3 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, no age limit. Children under the age of 2 participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from June to September, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, as it is located in the old town centre. Participants can park their cars in the harbour area and then move on foot.
Departure is on an approximately 8-metre-long touring gozzo equipped with an awning. On board, participants will listen to music and can request a snorkelling kit.
Families with small children must leave prams ashore with the authorised attendant.
Dogs are allowed on board if they are used to being on a boat and only up to medium size.
