The caves of Santa Maria di Leuca as you've never seen them before. Climb aboard and enjoy a one-and-a-half-hour boat trip past high cliffs, small hidden bays and the world-famous karstic caves.
Let yourself be guided by experienced skippers, who will tell you many interesting facts and legends about the places you visit during the tour. Dive off the boat and enjoy a swim in the blue sea of Leuca or relax on board while sunbathing and admiring the view. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the time indicated during the booking process at the port of Santa Maria di Leuca (LE). After all passengers have boarded, we will depart for the Riviera di Levante (or di Ponente, depending on the weather conditions of the day).
Both coastal slopes are characterised by a succession of enchanting caves carved into the rock. Along the Riviera di Levante, for example, we will visit Grotta della Vora and Grotta del Laghetto; along the Riviera di Ponente, on the other hand, we will admire natural wonders such as Grotta del Drago and Grotta del Presepe.
During the approximately one-hour cruise, I will tell you many stories and legends about these fascinating places. Then, towards the end of the tour, we will make a swim stop of about 20 minutes to enjoy a dip and a swim in the beautiful sea of Leuca.
Finally, we will return to the starting point after about one and a half hours of hiking.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 3 can participate free of charge.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October, depending on weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
We will be on board an 8.70-metre boat equipped with awning, shower, cushions, stern sundeck and all necessary safety equipment.
Dogs are allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
