Full description
Would you like to have the superpower of Flash just to be able to see all the sights of the Salento?
Then our boat excursion is just what you are looking for: our skipper will accompany you on the trip from San Foca to Otranto, admiring the wonders of the coastline and diving into the most scenic natural settings.
A4-hour experience that will end with an aperitif on board with a characteristic Apulian flavour!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in San Foca (LE). We will be welcomed by the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure in the sea of Salento!
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will set sail. We will bid farewell to the beaches of San Foca, a Blue Flag award-winning destination, and head for Roca Li Posti. Here we will find the Sanctuary of Madonna di Rosa and Roca Vecchia to welcome us; we will also pass by the Grotta della Poesia, known as the 'most beautiful natural swimming pool in the world'!
The navigation will continue towards Torre dell'Orso Bay, framed by the Faraglioni delle Due Sorelle, whose legend we will discover. We will reach the Calette di Sant'Andrea, a fishermen's village characterised by rocky cliffs and clear waters, and then continue on to Otranto: we will arrive at the Baia del Mulino d'Acqua and the Grotta Sfondata, both unmissable destinations during a holiday in Salento.
At least three bathroom stops in beautiful natural settings are planned during the excursion. In the meantime, an aperitif (included) will be served on board, featuring a trio of local products accompanied by a glass of prosecco or a soft drink.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult. Children from 0 to 3 years old participate free of charge , but it is necessary to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence on board.
The experience is not recommended for pregnant women.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report their presence and request support for boarding.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Free and/or paid parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a 7.50-metre long motor boat with a 150 HP engine. It is equipped with a sun deck at the bow, a large 3-metre awning at the front and rear, a freshwater shower, a ladder and a non-cabin toilet (available on request). Shoes are not permitted on board, you remain barefoot. Small dogs are allowed on board.
