Full description
Set off on a gozzo tour to the beautiful island of Sant'Andrea, just a few kilometres off the Gallipoli coast.
From the boat you will be able to observe the ancient walls of Gallipoli and the Angevin Castle as you move towards your designated destination, where you will spend 3 hours of fun and relaxation, diving and snorkelling against the backdrop of a romantic and evocative sunset.
In the meantime, you can enjoy a tasty Salento aperitif on board. Are you ready for a new adventure?
What we will do
Departure is at 5.30 p.m. from the prearranged place in Gallipoli. I will be waiting for you on board my boat, an 8-metre touring gozzo. Once all participants have boarded, our tour of the island of Sant'Andrea can begin.
We will start our adventure by skirting the ancient walls of the old town and admiring the ancient Angevin Castle.
We will then continue along the shoreline of the Spiaggia Della Purità, the only one in the old town, and only then make our way to the island of Sant'Andrea. Once there, we will be greeted by the island's monumental lighthouse, built in 1866, and then stop for an hour or so for a spot of diving and snorkelling in the site's clear water.
We will then be served a typical Salento aperitif on board with water, prosecco and a mix of dry snacks. Throughout the experience, we will be accompanied by good music and will have the opportunity to capture the most beautiful moments of the day, with the evocative sunset as our backdrop.
Return is scheduled for 20:30, for a total duration of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children under the age of 2 participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from June to September, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, as it is located in the old town centre. Participants can park their cars in the harbour area and then move on foot.
Departure is on an approximately 8-metre-long touring gozzo equipped with an awning. On board, participants will listen to music and can request a snorkelling kit.
Families with small children must leave prams ashore with the authorised attendant.
Dogs are allowed on board if they are used to being on a boat and only up to medium size.
