Have you ever heard of Finibus Terrae? It is there, where the land ends and the embrace between the two seas becomes intense, that we will take you for an unforgettable experience.
Set sail on a sunset boat trip from Torre Vado and be enchanted by the charms of the Ionian caves of Salento. In 2½ hours of sailing you will discover the most authentic side of Puglia.
Together with a skipper, you will explore legendary ravines and toast to the beauty of the moment with a typical Salento aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion on board the boat Nereide.
Once the group is formed, we will cast off our moorings and start sailing along the Ionian side of the peninsula. We will sail past a series of spectacular caves, including the Grotta del Drago, the Grotta della Stalla and the Grotta del Presepe.
We will admire the majesty of the Grotta dei Giganti and the Tre Porte, until we see the Grotta del Bambino and the Grotta del Fiume. After passing Punta Ristola, the so-called "Heel of Italy", we will reach Santa Maria di Leuca, where the skipper will tell us curiosities and historical facts about this famous location.
During the tour we will make a swimming stop and, for those who wish to snorkel, we will have on board integral masks for adults and children. Stops of around 20-30 minutes may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
To end on a high note, we will enjoy an aperitif with typical products of Salento cuisine, served in eco-friendly single-portion boxes and accompanied by prosecco, water, and lemon or peach tea.
Finally, we will reverse course to return to our starting point. The activity will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; staff can support any passengers with slight mobility difficulties in boarding.

Nereide is a traditional boat built by the prestigious Bianchi & Cecchi shipyard in Genoa. It is 8 metres long and has every comfort, including comfortable seating, a small sun deck, a sun canopy to shelter from the sun, and a shower to refresh yourself.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
