Full description
Punta Ristola, where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet. The Grotta del Diavolo, with its terrifying sea sounds, and the Grotta del Presepe, with its stalagmite formations. The Ionian side of Salento has many wonders in store!
Get ready to discover them with a 1½-hour boat tour. In the company of a skipper you can admire all the sights in the area, take a long swim and enjoy a snack on board amidst these wonders of nature!
What we will do
We will meet in Santa Maria di Leuca (LE), 30 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
After boarding, we will set sail with our skipper to discover the many caves and inlets that characterise the western/Ionian side of Salento.
During navigation, we will be able to admire the area's most interesting spots from the water: such as Punta Ristola, a promontory between the Ionian and Adriatic Seas, and the famous Grotta del Diavolo (Devil's Cave), so called because of the peculiar sounds and rumblings once attributed to demonic presences.
From the water, we will then admire numerous other inlets that are not accessible from the interior, such as the Mesciu Gianni Cave, the Cave of the River, the Cave of the Three Doors, the Cave of the Crib and, finally, the Cave of the Lovers.
The tour also includes a 25-minute bathing stop at a location chosen according to weather conditions, to dive into the crystal-clear waters of Salento. A snack (usually taralli) will be offered on board, accompanied by non-alcoholic drinks, beer or prosecco, of your choice.
We will then return to the port after a 1.5-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children aged 0 to 1 year participate free of charge: inform the organisers of their presence at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but the staff can assist people with reduced mobility in boarding, with prior notice after booking confirmation.

The tour runs daily from April to October, with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
You will travel on a 7 to 10-metre motorboat or gozzo with safety equipment, ladder, cushions, awning covering half the boat and freshwater shower.
Small or medium-sized dogs may be allowed on board on request. Please contact the organiser after booking confirmation to check whether it is possible to take your four-legged friend with you on the chosen date.
No alternatives for snacks on board are available for participants with food allergies or intolerances.
The meeting point can be reached by car (free or paid parking on site) or by bus (bus stop 700-800 m away).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
