Get ready to experience the thrills of canyoning in Tuscany!
A water-based activity in close contact with nature – and what a setting: you’ll venture into the stunning natural scenery of the Cocciglia Gorges, in the province of Lucca. With abseiling, natural slides and dives (optional) , fun is guaranteed.
A 3-hour experience, offering a chance to experience Tuscany from a new (and more adrenaline-fuelled) perspective.
What we will do
I’ll be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Chifenti (LU). I’m your guide and I’ll welcome you to my rafting centre, where the facilities will be at your disposal.
On your arrival, I’ll hand you your equipment and let you get kitted out; this initial stage will take about 15 minutes. We’ll then board a shuttle bus together, which will take us to the starting point of our canyoning experience in just 10 minutes.
Once there, I’ll hold a briefing during which I’ll provide you with all the information you need to enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind. Then the real adventure will begin! We’ll venture into the Cocciglia Gorges, carved out by the Lima Stream, via a 4-metre rope descent (compulsory) : the route includes pools of water to walk through, natural slides up to 2 metres high and jumps from a maximum height of 6 metres; The slides and jumps are not compulsory, and it will still be possible to complete the route by taking a detour. You’ll spend a full 1 hour and 45 minutes having fun in the water!
At the end of the course, you’ll board the shuttle bus which will take you back to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of around 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for children aged 10 and over; participants must be at least 110 cm tall.
Given the duration of the activity, a good level of fitness is required, but no previous canyoning experience is necessary.
Other information
The experience is available from June to October and is guaranteed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The duration of the experience may vary slightly depending on the experience level of the participants.
There is generally 1 guide per 10 adult participants.
A changing room with toilet, shower and locker for storing personal items is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
