Discover a beautiful and hidden corner of Tuscany with acanyoning adventure in the Rio Selvano, a few kilometres from Lucca. Immerse yourself in a natural environment full of surprises and prepare to live an exciting and fun experience.
Put yourself in the hands of an expert guide who will lead you through natural slides, dives, and rope descents. You will spend 3 breathtaking hours, amidst adrenaline and amazement, but always in total safety accompanied by an Expert Guide.
If you have never been canyoning, this is a great opportunity to discover a unique and increasingly popular sport. You will be provided with all thenecessary equipment and all you have to do is let yourself go on an adventure!
What we will do
We will meet at the base in Fabbriche di Vergemoli (LU). We will form the group, change into our gear (wetsuit, harness and helmet) and drive to a car park near the canyon entrance. There, we will have a briefing, during which the guide will instruct us on progression techniques and give us all the necessary instructions for carrying out the activity safely. After that, we will finally enter the waters of the Rio Selvano.
The first dive will be rather shallow and will serve to break the ice. Then, it will be a continuous succession of slides, rope descents and dives. The highest point from which to dive will be at a height of 8 m, and the longest slide will be 6 m long. However, for those who don't feel up to it, there will always be a way around the obstacle by easier... but less fun!
At the end of the adventure, we will head back to the base all together. The activity lasts a total of 4 hours, including 3 hours of canyoning.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level. No special physical condition is required, but knowing how to swim is necessary. Anyone in good health, aged 10 and over, can participate.
Other information
The activity is bookable from April to October. Private or large group excursions can be organised at different times and rates. Contact us for a dedicated quote.
The centre does not have changing rooms for showers, but you can leave your belongings in a closed, safe place.
Rock or rock shoes are not allowed. Hiking, running or classic trainers are permitted. Alternatively, suitable shoes can be hired on site at a cost of €10, as can thermal shirts. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request a rental.

- trainers (no rock shoes, five fingers or smooth-running shoes, no hand rings)

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
