Dives, slides and rope descents are the stuff of action movies.... Until you try canyoning at Rio Selvano, and realise that you can tackle them too!
Here, a few kilometres from Lucca (LU), a 3-hour course of natural obstacles awaits you, which you can overcome or circumvent at will, with a guide always at your side.
Your only mission? To have fun!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Fabbriche di Vallico (LU). Here we will find the guide who will provide us with all thenecessary equipment: wetsuit, helmet and harness.
We will begin with a briefing to learn progression techniques and safety rules, then we will put on our equipment and prepare to tackle the canyon. On foot we will reach the starting point surrounded by greenery, where the first rappels, dives and natural slides will be waiting for us.
The first dive will be shallow, perfect for breaking the ice and becoming familiar with the fresh water of the Rio Selvano. Then, the course will get more and more exciting with rope descents and jumps up to 6 metres high, as well as slides up to 5 metres long. However, for those who don't feel up to it, there will always be a way around the obstacle by easier... but less fun!
At the end of the route, we will walk back up to the meeting point. The activity will last about 4 hours in total , including briefing, route and walking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
To participate, it is necessary to be able to swim and have good water confidence.
The activity is of an easy level and is perfect for those approaching canyoning for the first time.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number and experience level of the group.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport, so it is recommended that you arrive by car.
There are changing rooms where you can leave your personal belongings and change, but there are no toilets.
Rock or smooth-soled shoes are not allowed; hiking, running or trainers are allowed. It is possible to hire shoes and thermal shirts on site at a cost of €10.00 , subject to notification of the guide after booking.
It isnot recommended todo the activity with glasses, so the use of contact lenses is recommended if necessary.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
