Full description
There is canyoning... and then there is canyoning in Val Bodengo.
Also known as one of the most spectacular canyons in Europe, this canyon winds its way along the Torrente Boggia , which like a snake of water snakes its way through deep pools, natural chutes and smooth rocks, creating a route to be tackled with energy and a desire to explore.
Together with an alpine guide, you will discover a unique environment, where the power of water meets the wild beauty of the mountains. Three and a half hours of pure immersion in nature, including jumps, rapids and exciting passages.
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Gordona (SO), where we will meet our guide and the rest of the group.
We will reach the starting point of the canyoning trip each in our own car. When we reach our destination, we will listen to a briefing and will be given ourequipment.
At this point, we will be ready to enter the canyon in the company of the mountain guide. The rushing water of the Torrente Boggia will lead us through an astonishing landscape: rocks smoothed over time, waterfalls and natural pools in which to let ourselves be carried away by the current.
On the way, we will face adrenaline jumps of up to 7 metres, natural slides and several rope descents from a height of up to 18 metres.
After about three and a half hours, we will conclude the experience and return to the meeting point aboard a shuttle bus.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 14; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Swimming skills are required to participate in the activity.
The activity is of medium level and suitable for those who have already experienced canyoning at least once.

Attention! The experience includes a transfer by your own transport. If you plan to reach the meeting point by public transport, please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request a shuttle service.
The road to the start of the route is subject to a daily ticket of €6.00 per car, which can be purchased on site.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number and experience level of the participants.
There are no changing rooms on site. We recommend arriving with your swimming costume already on. Any personal items will be stowed and stored in the guide's van.
